Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Tutor e all’s online tuition platform. By registering as a tutor, student, or parent/guardian, you agree to abide by these terms.

2. Eligibility

  • Students under 18 require parent/guardian consent to join.
  • Payment must be authorised by the billpayer.

3. Tutor Approval

  • Tutors are approved by admin following checks, including Enhanced DBS and safeguarding training.
  • Tutors must not solicit clients away from Tutor e all.

4. Lessons & Recordings

  • Sessions are hosted via Zoom or Google Meet.
  • All lessons are recorded for safeguarding and reviewed only in case of a complaint.

5. Payments

  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
  • Although we take no commission until January 2026, there are certain service related costs (for example Stripe fees) which may be deducted from the instructor’s account. The current service fee has been set to 4%.
  • As of January 2026 we will charge a 10% commission rate, + 4% service fees.
  • Tutors may withdraw funds 30 days after a lesson.
  • Refunds and credits are handled under the Refund Policy.
  • The Tutor e all admin team also reserves the right to introduce promotional coupons, allowing students to receive exclusive discounts upon redemption.

6. Reviews

  • Students may review tutors after each lesson (1–5 stars).
  • Reviews are displayed on tutor profiles.

7. Conduct & Misuse

  • Tutors and students must follow the Code of Conduct.
  • Misuse (e.g. inappropriate behaviour, breach of safeguarding) may result in suspension or permanent ban.

8. Liability

  • Tutor e all provides the platform but does not guarantee specific academic outcomes.

9. Account Responsibilities

  • Users must keep login details secure.
  • Parents are responsible for monitoring their child’s activity.
  • Tutor accounts are non-transferable (i.e. can’t be shared or sold).

10. Intellectual Property (IP)

  • All platform content (branding, website text, training webinars, predicted papers, resources) is owned by Tutor e all.
  • Tutors retain ownership of their teaching materials but grant Tutor e all a limited licence to use them (e.g. within the platform, during lessons).
  • Students cannot copy or distribute tutor resources without permission.

11. Lesson Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Tutors must give students a minimum notice period (e.g. 24 hours) if cancelling. Failure to do so could result in the tutor receiving a suspension/ban from the platform. The length of this suspension is determined through the discretion of the company. 
  • Students must also give 72 hours notice if they cannot attend an online session. We cannot provide full refunds for students who cancel after this time period. 
  • Students who do not show up to lessons will be charged as normal. 
  • Should a parent/student believe there is an extenuating circumstance preventing attendance to the lesson, they must email our sales team who can assist in their enquiry. This does not however, guarantee a refund/free session credit.

12. Complaints Procedure

  • Should a parent/student wish to make a complaint, they will have 72 hours from the point of their incident to request a refund/free session credit. 
  • It may take the Tutor e all team up to 3 weeks to review complaints.

13. Termination of Accounts

  • Tutor e all reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion.
  • Reasons include (but not limited to): breach of safeguarding, non-payment, misconduct, or breach of Code of Conduct.
  • Users may also request account deletion.

14. Platform Availability

  • Tutor e all makes reasonable efforts to keep the platform available but does not guarantee 100% uptime.
  • Tutor e all is not liable for technical interruptions beyond our control (e.g. Zoom downtime, internet failures).

15. Limitation of Liability

  • Although we do our best to provide an outstanding quality of education, Tutor e all is not responsible for:
    • academic performance or exam results,
    • technical issues beyond its control,
    • personal interactions between students and tutors outside the platform.
  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for the disputed lesson.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • Our terms and conditions are governed by UK law and disputes will be handled in UK courts.

17. Updates to Terms

Users will be notified via an announcement/email. If a student/tutor continues to use the platform, this will mean that they confirm with the new proceedings.

Tutor e all may update Terms from time to time.
